LG Naturals – Is it Worth it?
As a recovering makeup junkie, I’ve always loved the idea of a subscription box—it’s a great way to try new products regularly at a discounted price. But as a non-toxic beauty lover, I honestly thought these subscription services were off-limits for me. After all, I already struggled to find non-toxic brands, so I couldn’t imagine ever finding a subscription box packed with clean beauty products. It simply didn’t exist. Or so I thought.
Enter LG Naturals. I was ecstatic when I came across this company recently on the internet. I was just in time to order their next beauty box, and their list of previous boxes was impressive. So, I ordered their January Restore and Renew Clean Beauty Box and eagerly waited for its arrival.
Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The box was packed with full-size skincare products I’d never tried before, some of which I’ve quickly fallen in love with. Isn’t that the whole point of subscription boxes? To discover new gems you wouldn’t normally come across?
What Was in my Box?
Bambu Earth Repairing Facial Serum ($68)
This serum is supposed to restore your skin’s properties and it’s made with only three ingredients: pumpkin seed oil, rosehip oil, and meadowfoam oil. I was excited about this lineup of oils, and even then, it surpassed my expectations. It has become my favorite thing to put on my face. It’s smooth and luxurious and makes my skin feel oh so supple. I like to apply it before moisturizer or after a deep cleanse to lock in hydration.
LouLei Botanicals Earth Enzyme ($48)
This multi-tasking powder can be used as a mask, a polish, or a cleanser. It gently exfoliates, brightens, and restores your skin’s natural glow. Packed with organic ingredients like Brazilian green clay, bamboo, pumpkin, and moringa, it has an earthy smell and left my skin feeling smooth and soft.
I tried this as a mask by mixing it with aloe and leaving it on my skin for a few minutes before washing it off. I liked this method and will probably repeat this weekly for a soothing cleanse.
Soulistic Root Eucalyptus Shower Spray ($20)
You can use this spray anywhere there’s steam – like a shower or sauna – and enjoy the benefits of eucalyptus oil. This is something I used to do for asthma symptoms as a child, but as I got older, I developed a sensitivity to eucalyptus oil. It smells nice, but since I can’t use it, I’ll be doing a giveaway for it on my Instagram. If you’re interested in winning, make sure you’re following my page for details.
Soulistic Root Herbal Oatmeal Bath Soak ($8)
You can drop this into your tub for a relaxing bath. Oatmeal has many benefits for restoring the skin, including cleansing, hydrating, and soothing it. It can help relieve dry, irritated skin. I haven’t tried this yet since I prefer to shower, but I’m considering trying it on one of my kiddos who has sensitive skin since oatmeal can help calm it.
Orglamix Microderm Cloth Miracle Peel ($16)
This is a textured microdermabrasion cloth that gently exfoliates, cleanses, and leave your skin glowing. It’s a natural way to remove makeup and impurities while cleaning out clogged pores. I’d never heard of this before, so I was excited to try it. I didn’t notice a huge difference after using it the first time, but I’m going to keep using it to see what it does.
Conclusion
All in all, I think this box was worth it. I received $160 worth of skincare for less than $50 with the discount code 20OFF since it was my first box. I’m excited to keep using the items I received, and it’s got my excited to try future boxes. With all the greenwashing and misleading marketing out there, it can be tough to find high-quality, truly clean skincare. This makes it so much easier—not only to discover amazing products but to have them delivered in one convenient monthly package.
